Aesthetic Nurses Sheila Anderson and Rana Kennelly are passionate about their craft and sharing knowledge

Specifics

So you know how to inject, but can you see? In this informative workshop for all levels, aesthetic masters Sheila Anderson and Rana Kennelly will provide the importance of assessment skills and tools needed to make the treatment plan before picking up a needle to get stellar outcomes. Your best practice begins with assessment. With proper assessment, you can choose the right product and technique to give a customized result rather than a cookie cutter outcome. The trainers will cover a step wise approach to assessment tools for the face and how to train the eye to see beyond the line. Their insights will assist practitioners in navigating each unique face and how to incorporate these techniques into your practices, or enhance the assessment skills you have

In this Valuable Session We Will Cover:

• What our subconscious sees and how our eye can be tricked

• Putting your best foot forward and knowing where to start the journey

• Assess patient type and psyche

• A systematic approach to facial assessment and uncovering the clues to aging

• Differentiate from “a line” and learn to focus on “what’s causing the line”

• Sharing the necessary tools for best assessment and outcomes

• Live Demonstrations of facial assessment, patterns of aging and where to start using the attendees as models

Speaker Details

Shelia Anderson, a native of North Carolina, began her aesthetic career in Seattle, WA. With a background in critical care nursing Shelia is always searching for cause and effect, analysis of the situation and a constant thirst for knowledge. Working with plastic surgeons enabled Shelia to understand facial anatomy and the aging process to which she is able to apply her aesthetic talents. Her work with dermatologists is key to her understanding of skin, lasers and energy devices.

In 1996, when Shelia transitioned from critical care to the plastic surgery arena, there was no formal education or programs for transition into the aesthetic market. By the year 2002, after the approval of Botox for cosmetic use and the first FDA approved hyaluronic acid filler, Shelia was one of the first to train colleagues in the field of aesthetics. Shelia loves to travel the country (currently licensed in 6 states) and teach aesthetic techniques and is highly regarded by her peers.

Shelia is passionate about education for herself and others. With a Masters Degree in Nursing Education, Shelia enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise. Her motto has always been, “Knowledge is to be shared with our peers to improve the quality of care we provide to our patients”. She is one of the original trainers for Allergan and currently serves as a trainer and advisor for the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) in addition to providing private training through her company Elite Medical Aesthetic Training. Shelia currently works as a full-time aesthetic injection specialist for the 3 Washington locations of SkinSpirit Medical Clinics.
